Terms of Use for the Liverpool Brand "Logos"

This material is owned by Liverpool City Council (LCC) and provided under licence by Liverpool Vision acting on their behalf. To use the logo, you must first agree to the following licence terms:

1. The Logos available for download on this website is subject to these licensed terms, as well as any specific guidelines contained herein or provided separately. If you download any logo or other materials from this site, you agree to be bound by these licensed terms as well as the specific guidelines related to the materials you wish to download. You will find and should download detailed brand use guidelines from the same page as the Logos.

2. Liverpool Vision (acting on behalf of LCC) licenses you to use the Logos only on printed matter for promotional use, emails and your website. Such printed matter includes but is not limited to letterheads, faxes, invoices, business cards, compliments slips, wall planners and promotional literature. Although the Logos may be used on the above printed matter the font size of the Logos used must not be changed from that referred to in the brand guidelines which can be found here

3.You accept to ensure that any product sold or otherwise distributed shall comply with all laws, regulations, codes and standards applicable to the manufacture of such products. The product quality must be of an acceptable standard to not be detrimental to the image or good name of LCC in anyway.

4. If you wish to use the Logos on your website you must include it with a hyperlink to www.liverpoolcitybrand.com

5. In recognition of the fact that Logos may be downloaded by firms such as printers, to produce materials on behalf of their clients, all guidelines referring to use of the Logos should also be interpreted as meaning the production or publishing of materials bearing the Logos.

6. You may not sell, alter, modify, license, sub-license, copy, or use the logo in any way other than has been specifically authorised by Liverpool Vision in the permissions and trade mark guidelines described herein.

7. You acknowledge that Liverpool Vision reserves the right to revoke the authorisation to view, download, and print the Logos and materials available on this website at any time, and for any reason, and such authorisation shall be deemed to be discontinued immediately upon the removal of these materials from the website.

8. You acknowledge that any rights granted to you constitute a licence and not a transfer of title. You do not obtain any ownership right, title, or other interest in LCCs copyrighted materials or trade marks by downloading, copying, or otherwise using this logo or materials. For the avoidance of doubt, you are in no way authorised to describe yourself as, or imply that you are, a ´Friend´ ´Partner´ or ´Sponsor´ of, or in any way affiliated to, endorsed by, or associated with, Liverpool Vision or LCC.

9. Liverpool Vision/LCC shall not be liable to you or any other party for any loss of revenue or profit or for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other similar damages, whether based in tort (including, without limitation, negligence or strict liability), contract, or other legal grounds, even if Liverpool Vision/LCC has been advised or has reason to know of the possibility of such damages.

10. Any materials are provided on an "as-is" basis. Liverpool Vision/LCC specifically disclaims all express, statutory, or any implied warranties related to these materials or Logos, including but not limited to those concerning merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement of any third party rights regarding the materials.

11. You accept that all and any goodwill arising out of your use of the Logos belongs to and shall inure for the benefit of Liverpool Vision/LCC absolutely.

12. You agree and accept that Liverpool Vision may at any time at their absolute discretion require all and any use of the Logos by you to immediately cease and you will if so required cease all and any such use of the Logos forthwith.
