I care passionately about Liverpool. I want to see the city prosper so that it is a good place for my children and grandchildren to grow up. I work hard everyday to help achieve this by attracting people to music events in the city and by providing a music venue where locals and visitors feel welcome and can enjoy some great music. Please involve me and the Picket in campaigns you are running to promote the city. Love Liverpool, Love Music

I'm proud of my Liverpool ancestral heritage. My family have lived and worked in the city for over two hundred years. No plaque or monument for them, only old photographs and signatures in church registers mark their happy and hard lives. The city is changing but it still belongs to the people and their family's ancestral ghosts.

Although I left for America 43 years ago I have lived in Liverpool every day since then in my mind, in fact, the words Liverpool are carved into my heart because in my life I've loved it more.

Liverpool's regeneration over the last few years and its status as European Capital of Culture have given the city and its people their swagger back - Liverpool stirs people's emotions like no other provincial city because it is & never will be just another provincial city
